Rgreen® offers two fertilization programs. We have an organic based program and a 100% organic service. By offering two programs, we can give every customer in Allentown, Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley a weed free green lawn without hurting the environment.
100% Organic Lawn Fertilization
Rgreen® is a certified user of Beesafe products for the 100% organic program. If you are concerned about our environment and problems caused by the over-use of fertilizer like the ocean dead zones this is the product for you. The 100% program consists of 5 steps throughout the summer approximately 4 to 8 weeks based on weather and lawn conditions.
Organic-Based Lawn Fertilization
The organic based lawn fertilization program uses the same base products as the 100% organic program. With these additions.
- Traditional weed control. With that said Rgreen® has been in the fertilization business for 18 years and we do not use the label rate of weed control. After experimenting over many years we have learned we can use much less weed control to get the same results in Allentown, Bethlehem, and the Lehigh Valley PA.
- Slow release nitrogen is added. But, we only add what the plant can use. This prevents runoff that can contribute to the ocean dead zones or damage to the Chesapeake Bay.
- Traditional crabgrass prevention in both the first two applications.
The organic based program consists of 5 steps approximately 4 to 8 weeks apart based on weather and lawn needs. This is a lower cost option that will give you a weed free green lawn and is environmentally friendly.
